How to Retain More of What You Read

dsc_0149-1024x719The blog site Farnam Street has in interesting post about how to read smarter by taking notes while and after you read. According to research readers who stop reading about every ten pages, close the book and write a summary remember 50% more over the long term than people who read the same material over and over while trying to memorize it. Nassim Taleb, the author of Antifragile, and The Black Swan, suggests an even better strategy is to  make a list of bullet points  of how you can apply what you’re read.
